SELF CATERING HOLIDAY APARTMENT BROAD HAVEN, PEMBROKESHIRE
Morawelon is a 5 star seafront apartment and has uninterrupted views of the beach and St. Brides Bay in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. It is situated within the Pembrokeshire National Park and is right next to the 186 mile Coast Path. The scenery is unique and beautiful, with lots to see and do in the area.
The wide “Blue Flag” beach is sandy with several interesting geological features including folding, stacks and natural arches at the northern end.
The apartment is modern, very clean, well equipped and furnished but it is the location which makes it so special. There is a small, private balcony where you can sit and enjoy those spectacular views and sunsets. The comfortable window seat in the lounge is very popular with our guests, it is just the place to sit and relax with a book or to gaze out to sea and maybe spot one of the dolphins which are sometimes seen in the bay.

The lounge is furnished with two settees and has a TV, video, DVD player and mini Hi-Fi. There is a good selection of books including several of local interest with O.S maps, walks and guides to help you identify the many birds, flowers and wildlife in the area. The tourist information file is designed so that everyone get the most out of their stay and the wall map in the hallway is a great help in planning a day out.
The fitted kitchen is equipped to a high standard with a fridge, washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven, microwave and Dualit toaster. Little extras such as tea towel, hand towel, soap, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. are provided to make settling in easier so guests have everything they need as soon as they arrive.
For those not wishing to cook, there is a selection of eating places nearby and we also provide sample menus for some of the many pubs and restaurants in the area. If you do stay in, don’t forget you can still see those amazing views from the dining table!
There are two bedrooms which are nicely furnished with plenty of storage and both rooms have a TV/video and alarm clocks. Beds are made up ready for our guests arrival with linen, duvets and pillows. The bathroom has a small sit in bath and separate shower cubicle, several mirrors, shaving point, extractor fan, hairdryer and bath mat. There is a heated towel rail and towels are provided free of charge – you just need to bring your beach towels.
There is constant hot water, electric panel heaters and the rent is inclusive of electricity.
We regret the property is non smoking and we do not accept pets. Please be aware that the property is on the third floor and therefore not suitable if you have difficulty managing stairs. There is a private parking space to the rear of the building.
£235 - £725 per week. Short breaks (min 3 nights) available outside main season, by arrangement.

Local Area There is a Londis store very nearby, which is convenient if you are self catering and it also has a Post Office, newspapers and a bakery with fresh bread and cakes. They also sell everything for a picnic on the beach, including sandwiches, baguettes, hot pies and drinks. If you fancy a quiet evening in, they hire out DVDs. There is also a Tesco and Morrisons in nearby Haverfordwest.
When you prefer to eat out, there is a good range of eating places in the area and there is some information and menus for you have a look at in the apartment. Your feedback and suggestions are very welcome.
If you enjoy walking, Broad Haven is an ideal base to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast path, as well as numerous circular walks in the National Park. There is lots of information and maps in the apartment for you to get ideas, and the bus stop for the Puffin Shuttle is only a short distance away. This is a coastal service which allows you to use the bus for your outward journey and walk back to your destination. This enables you to walk the coast path in one direction without having to re-trace your steps. Please look through our books to find out about local sights or identify that bird you saw on your walk!
Whatever your interest, there is so much to see and do in Pembrokeshire and we have lots of tourist information available, including a wall map identifying many places to visit. How about Oakwood Leisure Park, Pemberton's Chocolate Farm, Hilton Court Gardens or Folly Farm Adventure Park? Or a boat trip to the islands of Skomer, Skokholm, Grassholm or Ramsey? There are several other beautiful beaches nearby too such as Newgale, Druidstone, Marloes and Whitesands.
The apartment has the Wales Tourist Board 5 star grading, and this is reflected in the high standard of service and facilities we offer.
